Description
Michelangelo Buonarroti - (1475-1564) is an outstanding master of the Italian Renaissance, one of the greatest figures in the fine arts.
Although he has always considered himself a sculptor, not only in sculpture, but in painting, architecture and in the lyric also made significant. His most famous statue is probably the statue of David. It captures David from the moments before the battle with Goliath. The work shows one of the artist's most peculiar features: the depicted person expresses his inner tension before action with a seeming exterior calmness.
My painting captures a part of the statue. Artistic plaster, glue, acrylic, oil paint, made with mixed techniques have played a role in the creation of the work.
