The Lavagna (Italy) exhibition at the Con-Temporary Art Observatorium ended at the beginning of the month, which had a very good press response. I just received the catalog of the exhibition, which includes the works on display, description of the exhibiting artists and art criticism.

„Specialised in the oil painting, Ruth Schmidt demonstrates in her canvases an attentive perspicacity in the observation of society and human existence, and a sensibility for that original sentiment of natural harmony as well.
Her artworks, showing a pleasant and balanced style, are allegories expressed through a symbolism as much light as profound in analysing the attitudes of people, sometimes interpretend in a nearly sarcastic way.
