This painting captures my first really sunny walk after a long, cold winter. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, and I felt alive again - an exhilarating sense of freedom and renewal. The lonely yellow plane soaring in front of the vast sky symbolises this sense of liberation and the joy of breaking free. With this minimalist composition, I want to evoke a sense of wonder, adventure and limitless possibilities that come with moments of clarity and openness in life. This work reflects both a personal experience of renewal and a universal yearning for freedom and discovery.
