I believe that God puts very great and wonderful opportunities in marriage. It is up to us to live up to these opportunities. Can we place our partner before us or are we the first ones, should we have right in the debates? Are we working on the unit or is the “I” dominating?
I have been married for 7 years but I am still just learning the heights and depths, learning to give up my things if His interest requires it. I learn to shut my mouth to not hurt the other. I am learning. On the other hand, I see that our marriage is wonderfully built when we both put ourselves there. We are efficient at work, the holidays are wonderful. We have wings which are only working if we join them together.
