On the late afternoon of 3 June, Teravarna Gallery in Los Angeles (USA) and Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest (Hungary) opened the 1st Budapest International Art Show - artBIAS.

The 77 works in the exhibition were selected from more than 1,000 submissions (from 31 countries across 5 continents) in a highly competitive international field.

It is a great pleasure and honor to be among the exhibitors, especially knowing that the selection was made through a “blind judging” process (the jury did not see the artists’ names).

As it turned out at the opening of the exhibition, 12 awards were presented in different categories.

To my great surprise, I received the "Special Jury Award" for my painting "Living Hope" from Teravarna and Golden Duck Gallery (I was told that I missed the "Best in Show" by a very few points, but I was also surprised to receive "Second Place" because there were so many wonderful, talented artists among the exhibitors.

The event was personally attended by the President of Teravarna Gallery (USA) and his family, as well as many exhibitors from all over the world: USA, UK, different countries of Europe...
