On the late afternoon of 3 June, Teravarna Gallery in Los Angeles (USA) and Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest (Hungary) opened the 1st Budapest International Art Show - artBIAS.

From a strong international field of more than 1000 entries (from 31 countries on 5 continents), 77 winning entries were selected.

It is a great pleasure and honour to be one of the "winning" exhibitors, especially knowing that the winners were selected by "blind judging" (the jury did not see the names of the artists).

As it turned out at the opening of the exhibition, 12 awards were presented in different categories.

To my great surprise, I received the "Special Jury Award" for my painting "Living Hope" from Teravarna and Golden Duck Gallery (I was told that I missed the "Best in Show" by a very few points, but I was also surprised to receive "Second Place" because there were so many wonderful, talented artists among the exhibitors.

The event was personally attended by the President of Teravarna Gallery (USA) and his family, as well as many exhibitors from all over the world: USA, UK, different countries of Europe...

The exhibition was high quality, the organisers paid attention to every little detail.

I am grateful for everything!
