The Mother Nature – WATER exhibition has opened its doors at the ArtUp Gallery in Turnhout.
This exhibition is not merely a standalone event, but part of an international exhibition series that has recently received significant professional attention. Aiming to rethink the relationship between nature and humanity, the exhibition was first on view at the David Gallery, followed by the Liszt Institute in Brussels and the Michel Ange Fine Art Gallery. Its next stop is the Belgian cultural center of Turnhout, where it can be visited at ArtUp Contemporary until the end of September.
The duality of the sea for me—at once terrifying and undeniably beautiful—perfectly reflects the magical power and wonder of nature. This immense power radiates from the raging momentum of the waves, while its deep, mysterious depths conceal secrets. The vastness of the sea awakens humility in me and inspires deep respect and curiosity about the secrets hidden within it, which fascinate me just as much as they evoke fear.
