On October 15, 2021, at 18:00, my Master, Kálmán Gasztonyi, opened my exhibition "With Other Eyes" in the Secret Gallery, Budapest, Hungary. On the exhibition my symbolist and surrealist paintings are mainly on display.

My master wrote about me and the exhibition:

Schmidt Ruth's painting draws on the knowledge of the masters of the past centuries, using their painting techniques, but her paintings are addressed for the man of the XXI. century. Her paintings, painted with the utmost professional humility and fantastic precision, provide a unique aesthetic visual experience that are Ruth’s unmistakably characteristic. Her paintings are narrative, I would tell - so the bare aesthetic experience - he fills them with human stories and feelings. Ruth's basic nature is fun, positive worldview, humor. Unfortunately, there is less and less room for humor in contemporary painting, even though it is one of the greatest gifts of our lives, even if someone has it. Fortunately, the Creator was generous with Ruth. The depiction of divine power also often plays a role in his paintings, as his Christian faith is very important to him. Symbolism is perhaps the best characteristic of his painting, but occasionally surrealism also appears. There’s always a little “ruth” screw out there that transcends, fills, - so makes an image thought realistic. Ruth's talent, diligence, purposefulness holds many, many more excellent paintings for us. "
