It was in the late afternoon on June 3 in Los Angeles (USA) Teravarna Gallery and the Budapest Golden Duck Gallery, 1st Budapest International Art Show – artBIAS – opening.

Out of more than 1,000 submitted entries from 31 countries across 5 continents, 77 works were selected for the exhibition in the strong international field.

As revealed at the exhibition opening, 12 awards were also presented in various categories; these were scored separately by the two galleries, and the „field” was then compiled based on the combined scores.

(They told me I missed first place, the „Best in Show”, by very few points, but even this „Second Place” was a huge surprise to me because there were so many wonderful, talented artists among the exhibitors.).

My event was attended in person by the president of Teravarna Gallery (USA) and his family, as well as many exhibitors from various parts of the world: the USA, the UK, various European countries…
