My artistic practice often focuses on the spiritual dimension of human relationships, especially where emotional intimacy and faith intersect.
In the artwork entitled Unity, I examine the transformative potential of joint prayer between a husband and wife. I believe that this kind of communion creates a unique closeness—one that deepens the connection on a level unattainable through words or deeds. By means of simplified human model figures (which symbolize vulnerability and, to me, the fact that we are created beings), I strip away individual identity to highlight the universality of this experience. Their kneeling posture symbolizes humility, devotion, and alignment—not only with each other, but also with a Power greater than themselves, with God.
