Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640) is a Flemish painter besides Rembrandt, the most prominent figure in his early art, creating a unified image of 17th century Flemish painting. His peculiarly personal style had a great influence on the development of European painting and now on me. I made my study painting of Venus and Adonis based on His painting.
