oil on canvas, palette knife
I like to use the palette knife technique in my paintings, because the images made with this technique are vibrantly hectic. Horses to me are symbols of strength and ferocity.
In the earlier painting eras, the most prominent representatives of the painting technique with the knife were undoubtedly from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist times. There are plenty of inspirations in the paintings of Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne and Alfred Sisley if I want to study the technique of palette knife.
