In my work, I explore the profound impact digital platforms have on our perception of reality—how they shape not only what we see but also how we feel and think. It addresses the deceptive nature of curated content, where appearances are meticulously constructed and truth becomes increasingly elusive. On social media, nothing is quite what it seems—images are filtered, stories tailored, and authenticity is often sacrificed for the sake of performance.

The piece speaks to the loss of truth in a world where spectacle is rewarded over substance, and where likes and clicks often overshadow facts and values. It is not merely a critique of misinformation but a protest against the acceptance of illusion as reality.
It encourages us to pause and ask what lies behind the screen— to see beyond the mask of digital perfection and confront the uncomfortable gap between appearance and reality. Most importantly, it reminds us not to let what we see there become our measure or guide.
