He is perhaps my absolute favorite painter. His works were created during the period that art historians call the Dutch Golden Age, or the „golden century,” or simply the Age of Rembrandt (roughly the middle third of the 17th century). Imbued with the excitement of painting, Rembrandt can be called neither a conscious realist nor an expressive artist – he simply evoked a magical atmosphere. One of the main special features of his works is the play of light and shadow, the frequent use of strong contrasts, which almost draws the viewer into the painting. This is what fascinates me the most about him. Also noteworthy is the sensitivity with which he portrayed people.

Among the portraits, the Man with the Golden Helmet stands out.

I made this study painting based on his painting.

<colgroup>
<col width="391" /></colgroup>

60×50 cm

23.62×19.69 in

oil on canvas

2018

[17,37

post-665","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-eredeti-olajfestmenyek","product_cat-tanulmanyi-festmenyek","first","instock","shipping-taxable","product-type-simple
["GET
