If my parents wouldn't let me go to a party after they fell asleep, I would climb out the window and go without permission. They didn't know what to do with me. Many times I went home very drunk. There were times when I stumbled through the door... I caused them a lot of heartache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were multiple times when I wandered home at dawn and my mother was kneeling by the bed, praying through tears. For me. That I would get home safely and that my mindset would change. She had to wait many, many years for this, but she persevered the whole time and never stopped praying. I am very grateful to God that she is my mom!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My sweet mother is not a worldly-wise woman, she doesn't know much about science, she is not a university-educated woman with a degree\u2026 but for me she is a true example of love, faith, hope, perseverance, a true fighter.
