Two days ago in Miskolc, organized by the Hungarian Pan-Arts Workshop, was the opening of my exhibition titled ‘One sees clearly only with the heart...’ combined with Zsuzsanna Petrovics's book launch. The venue itself was special, it has history. Lajos Szalay (Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian graphic artist) used to live here, and János Arany also created works within these walls.
The mood was enhanced by the wonderful klezmer music of Zsuzsanna Kékes (percussion) and Dániel Szurasenkó (vocals, piano).
The directness and warmth of the people, along with the candid conversations, were heartwarming! Thank you very much for the invitation and the kind reception to Daniel Szurasenko and the hardworking hands for all the delicious treats!
